Eden is performing as part of the Angel choir in the play "best christmas pageant ever" at the Academy theatre this weekend. She has a solo singing "silent night" Here is a picture from dress rehearsal

Holiday season

December is here.....we attended our first holiday party, a gift exchange among friends. Here is Eden and her long time friend Philip under the tree...  This week we start dress rehearsals for "Best Christmas Pageant Ever" based on the book.  Eden will be in the christmas choir, and has a solo, singing "silent night"

Daisy Scout

Eden will be crossing the bridge and becoming a daisy scout in a few days. Daisies are the youngest girl scouts, then they become brownies and then girl scouts.  She is following in the footsteps of her great aunt gail, and me.  I loved being a girl scout.  Today she met some of the girls in her troup and they made the bridge and then walked across it with painted feet.  Here is a pic of them showing their dirty painted feet!  This year she will also continue with ballet and theater.  Her next musical is "best christmas pageant ever" and she will be part of the angel choir.

School starts...

Our little girl is now our big girl, 6 years old and ready to start kindergarten at the elementary school. I remember how on the first day of school my mom would line us up on the front porch and take our pictures with new outfits and bookbags. now I am the mom sending her off. Hard to believe!

Kindergarten

Eden had an amazing year at her preschool's small kindergarten this year... mostly because of her wonderful teacher, mrs. mcfadden.  She has learned so much about the world around her, and has an appreciation for art and nature and all living things. here are my favorite pictures...

Cirque Allegro

Circus theme was this years dance recital.  Eden had a great time, especially dancing with Chelsey as her mini me.  Here are some pictures..

Ballet recital

Eden's dance recital is around the corner.  She is doing hip hop and ballet this year, and also was
chosen to dance with a senior ballerina for part of the senior's solo. Here are pictures of Chelsey, the senior she dances with, and Eden in costume and during rehearsals...she is really enjoying watching the older ballerinas dance.
