In 2007, when Eden was 8 months old, I started this blog. I did it because our family and friends are all over the U.S. and thought it would be a nice place for them to watch our daughter grow up! Since then, it has become a labor of love. My love of photgraphy and journaling, combined with my love for motherhood has poured into this blog. Welcome and come back often!

apple pickin time


Our friends the Lorans invited us to an apple picking/pie making day at their home. They have a beautiful property next to an old barn and overlooking mountains. Eden had a blast picking apples and she carried around her apple for at least an hour, taking another bite every so often. We made pies with the apples afterwards. At night, the kids roasted marshmellows by the bonfire. It was a great day and we had a blast!
